    Some of the men are hopeful that they can continue living with their wives, while others are less optimistic. One wife even describes finding out about her husband's attraction to men after she was already married to him, and how she stayed with him, hoping that he would change his mind.

    Reception

    A Change.org petition drew over 100,000 supporters to ask TLC to pull the program[2] because, "TLC is ... And initially, they do the exact same with My Husband's Not Gay; it focuses on four men, three of whom are married, as they speak to the camera about how they've always been attracted to other men but have refused that part of themselves because their church views it as a sin.

    While glossing over how this communal place of worship would exile them should they try to live as openly Gay, the men and their wives work hard to "refuse these temptations," implementing various daily practices to keep their "unholy attractions" at bay.
