  The eastern coast of O’ahu is hemmed in by a gorgeous mountain range and boasts three of the islands best beaches.

  This island has something for you. Central Oahu does however have one of the island’s largest attractions Pearl Harbor and the U.S.S. King Kamehameha III ordered the move and the Iolani Palace was built later.

  But Oahu is much more than Honolulu or Waikiki – it may well be the most beautiful of all the major islands.

  It’s a small strip of sand sprinkled with boulders, creating cozy spots to lay down your towel. The sand is so soft, the waves are so gentle, and the views are so stunning, you might think you’re in a dream. Oahu boasts a fantastic climate, inexpensive accommodations, a large variety of shopping options, and world renown beaches – it’s fair to say the island lures in visitors from around the world.

  Fort DeRussy Beach

  To stay close to the action but with a little more elbow room, Fort DeRussy Beach is your spot.

  The island’s beaches are a perfect mix of natural beauty, inclusivity, and lively social scenes. The beach here draws a mostly gay & lesbian crowd, although certainly not exclusively gay. But nudity is strictly prohibited (it’s enforced by federal officials!). A favorite among gay men and nudist families alike, this spot has the LGBTQ+ crowd gathering on the far side.
