My friend C. (he posts on this board too so...) had an affair with him and said it was both amazing, because RC was so incredibly handsome, and terrifying, because RC was also so dangerously loopy.

RC seemed like the kind of guy who'd beat up male hustlers

Bob Conrad not only fooled the world, he fooled himself.
Liberace claimed that skater Sonja Henie was the love of his life (but, sadly, she married someone else), and he was making a lot of money for a lot of people. He was able to not put himself in a box and had success on comedies too. A remake of the film "This gun for Hire". I’ll always remember right after he died, the women I worked with just could not believe he was "that way." They had grown up with the image he presented onscreen, and were convinced he had to be straight.

R106 - Rock Hudson didn't fool everybody.
A girl I knew worked summers in Dunfey's Hyannis (hotel) and a lot of rumors about visiting celebs were always swirling around there. I still think a handsome, rich, and famous man would have surrounded himself with better looking men if gay.

I wish I could find the interview where one of the Memphis Mafia discussed the parties they used to have.
He sparked rumors by how old he looked on Dynasty, but by the time it aired it was a few months later, and it all wrapped up for Rock very quickly. 23 was so young an age to be dealing with all that she did, and it’s awful to think that she had to cope with shaming about the real love she felt for a woman on top of all that.
Whitney interviews never get old.
end of discussion.

[quote]John Mahoney, but it was pretty easy hiding in plain sight on Frasier. He was physically abusive to his wives and he was abusive to his tricks, blond twinks who he bottomed for, but then liked to beat up afterward.
Advisor to Donald Trump and Senator Joseph McCarthy, Roy Cohn lead the lavender scare in the 1950s and 1960s seeking out, threatening and blackmailing gay and lesbian government employees. As a young film lover I was impressed with the seventies films I was watching at the time, not really having much exposure to older films, I was amazed and instantly gained respect for older cinema.
Cagney worked for minimum scale in the low budget "Short cut to Hell." He did a fine job directing and got good performances from his young stars, Robert Ivers and Georgann Johnson. Nicholas Ray directed. In 1904, when Harry Warner was 22 and Jack was just 11, Sam, then 16, had brought home a kinetoscope, an early film projector.
It was super scuzzy!

I don't believe that. She would later become his manager and be named, Executor of his Estate. The next film "Each Dawn I Die "had Cagney playing a reporter framed for manslaughter by a crooked district attorney.
