Broadway DNA presents the world premiere of Home's Kitchen written and directed by Maeve Aurora Chapman in an exclusive one week run at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts June 6-9, 2024.
Home's Kitchen follows the seemingly separate lives of Marianne Rose, a young and disillusioned obituary writer, and Richard Davenport, a TV celebrity chef who seemingly has it all.
Expect rainbows, glitter, and plenty of food and drinks, music and drag shows.

PrideFest Pool Party & Tea Dance
Location: The Railyard NOLA, 710 Poland Avenue
Time: 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Kick off Pride weekend with a night of music and mingling. Presented by New Orleans Black Pride in collaboration with New Orleans Pride, this free, family-friendly festival offers something for everyone.
Enjoy live performances from local musicians, savor delicious dishes from some of the city’s best food vendors, and explore interactive activities and entertainment for all ages.
The event is free, and you can RSVP online.
New Orleans Black Pride: NightCap Party
Location: The Hangar, 1511 South Rendon Street
Time: 10 p.m. This outdoor event is fun for all ages, with Drag Queen Story Time, dance and drag performances, fan decorating, a community resource fair, a culminating children’s parade, and other surprises.
Parking will be very limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

The festivities typically begin on the Thursday before Labor Day with the official opening ceremonies, featuring grand marshal introductions and a street party at the Golden Lantern, the festival's birthplace. Home's Kitchen Is supported by a grant from The New Orleans Theatre Association (NOTA) and is the inaugural production of Broadway DNA's New Play Production Pipeline, producing new work for global licensing. This gallery talk will begin in the Great Hall and travel to the second-floor elevator lobby.
