Blah, Blah, Blah: Buster zones out◊ while Gordon and Hector are going over their house rules.Blank White Eyes: Sometimes, the characters are drawn without pupils.Bouncer: Trey the bouncer either whacks Buster with a newspaper he keeps in a holster or just kicks him out of the club every once in a while.Bullying a Dragon:Carpet of Virility: Trey the Bouncer; Buster occasionally lampshades it, complaining that Trey is hairier than him when first meeting him or calling him "simian" and "ape-like" (whichpromptly gets him a rolled-up newspaper to the face).Cassandra Truth: When Bernard found photos of "himself" from last night:Bernard: I AM A WEREWOLF!

By night his alter-ego, a charming, energetic gay werewolf named Buster navigates the club scene, playfully torments his arch-nemesis, Trey the bouncer, spends time with his best human friends, Gordon and Hector, howls at the moon, chases his tail and dances the night away.
Conceived in 1997 when the Furry Fandom was rather young and the Internet even younger, Buster Wilde was one of the first well-known furry webcomics of the late 90's and ultimately of the entire fandom's history.
Though, oddly, he seems to think it's actually portuguese, not french.

- Straight women smell like strawberries and disinfectant.
- Lesbians smell like wet carpet and sesame oil.
- Gay men smell like an explosion in a chlorine factory.
The Taming of the Grue: A gay werewolf who loves to go clubbing is definitely miles away from the original folklore concept of a werewolf.The Thing That Would Not Leave: Try as he might, but every time Trey kicks Buster out of the club, Buster always ends up getting back in.◊Transformation Comic: The comic focuses on Bernard and Buster's double life while mostly focusing on Buster.Troll: One strip◊ has Buster pulling a surprisingly mean prank on Gordon when the latter gets worried that Buster's werewolf instincts could potentially lead him to kill him and his room mate and feast on their flesh, though Buster is quick to admit that he was just kidding...

Unusually Uninteresting Sight: After a while, Buster hanging out at the clubs no longer fazed anyone and newcomers to the club will be met with indifference◊ from the frequent clubgoers when asked about Buster.Window Love: In an unrequited fashion, Buster tries to get Marshall's attention by tapping and rubbing his face on the window much to Marshall's annoyance.Wolves Always Howl at the Moon: Buster has an unhealthy habit◊ of howling while sitting at the edge of building rooftops.Your Costume Needs Work: A drag queen meets Buster and thinks he is just a lunatic in a costume and tries to pull off Buster's mask but Buster really is a werewolf.You Sexy Beast: At first everyone feared Buster because he was a werewolf wandering the streets but when they realized that Buster was harmless and only loved to go clubbing, they became used to his presence and eventually some people started to find him attractive◊ despite him being a werewolf.
